dignitas have bounced back from their defeat earlier in the day by thrashing KaBuM.TD 16-4 on de_dust2.
dignitas, who started out on the CT side, came out the brighter and won the opening three rounds of the first half with ease. An A split from KaBuM in the first gun round saw the Brazilian side reduce the deficit to 1-3, with Fernando "fer" Alvarenga getting four kills to his name.
That did little in the way of impressing dignitas, however, as the Danish side enlarged their lead by taking two rounds in a row. A mid-B split then gave KaBuM their second round of the half, with the Brazilian team trying to replicate that tactic in the following round, but to no avail, as they fell victim to their opponents’ timely smokes and grenades.
After finding themselves down 2-8, KaBuM managed to get their third round of the match with a B plant, but once again they were unable to string two rounds together, with dignitas eventually securing a commanding 12-3 lead.
dignitas get first win in Aspen
In the second half, KaBuM came out strongly and denied an A split from dignitas in the pistol round, only to be stunned on the eco in the following round thanks to a catwalk rush from the Danes, with Nicolai "device" Reedtz getting three kills and René "cajunb" Borg, two.
The eco loss was quite a blow to the Brazilian side, who never found their feet again as dignitas ran out 16-4 winners in the match.
